Donation Form

Support ONLA through automatic recurring donations:

If you wish to make a donation that automatically recurs (monthly, quarterly, etc) for tax purposes or to avoid a lump sum payment, Zelle is the preferred payment method. The advantages of Zelle include the ability to automate a recurring payment and functions with most banking platforms (Chase, Bank of America, etc) without a separate application and without fees. Please select the following address onladonation@orchnovala.org as the recipient, choose the amount and the account from which you’d like to draw, then click the repeating payment option.

Endow a Chair in the Orchestra

How to participate in our Endowed Chairs Program:

Orchestra Nova LA has established an Endowment Fund to protect the orchestra’s long-term viability and provide a stable income stream that will enable us to play in better venues and to expand our repertoire with music not in the public domain. You can make a personalized gift by naming a chair either for yourself or in honor of a special loved one or friend, to be occupied by leaders of our various orchestra sections.

Naming a chair in the orchestra requires $500 for an orchestra member, $1000 for a section head, $2500 for the concertmaster, and $5000 for the music director. Each donation is renewable after one year. Orchestra Nova LA is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. Your donation is tax deductible under section 170 of the IRS code.

If you are interested in participating in this program or learning more, please contact us at giving@orchnovala.org or click on the button below to submit an interest form and someone from our team will reach out to you directly. Thanks in advance for your support.

How to donate through your Individual Retirement Account (IRA):

You can donate up to $105,000 in 2024 to qualified charities from your traditional IRA, if you are age 70½ or older, without it being considered a taxable distribution. Contact your IRA Trustee to make a qualified charitable donation to Orchestra Nova LA. All qualified charitable distribution checks must be issued by the IRA trustee and made payable to the charity. Our orchestra recently rebranded and we are doing business as Orchestra Nova LA. However, for tax purposes, the orchestra is officially the Los Angeles Doctors Symphony Orchestra, a qualified 501(c)(3) charity. Your IRA Trustee should make the charitable distribution check payable to “Los Angeles Doctors Symphony Orchestra”. Our EIN is 95-3128962. The check should be mailed to 10736 Jefferson Blvd. Unit 766, Culver City, CA 90230. The IRA trustee may send the check directly to the charity, or they may send the check payable to the charity to you, for you to forward to the charity. Please consult your financial or tax advisor before giving.
